About (Workforce Data Services)
The products and services we offer are the result of a joint venture between Workforce Data Services LLC, Kelliher & Associates LLC, and Lester Coffey of Coffey Consulting LLC. Workforce Data Services LLC was founded in 2008 to provide state and local workforce providers with the data and integration services needed to meet the challenges of building America’s workforce. Our approach to identifying workers in need of services and gathering key data also facilitates economic development planning and the work of education and training planners engaged in supporting workforce development.
Charles McGlew is the founder of Workforce Data Services LLC and has over three decades of government experience in Unemployment Insurance and Employment Services. Mr. McGlew also has considerable experience in the private sector providing consulting services to states involved in a variety of research and demonstration projects involving Workforce Development and Unemployment Insurance.
Kelliher & Associates, LLC was founded in 2007 to provide consulting and system integration services to the state and local market through the use of proven methodologies and new technologies. We provide a breadth of services to our clients that range from project planning, project management, IV&V to full System Integration Services. Our founders began working in the state and local arena in the late 1980s and have continued to deliver our services to this level of government since that time. Our focus is Improving the Business of Government. We are experienced in most facets of government including; Labor, EOHHS, Justice, Public Safety, Revenue, Education and Lottery Agencies.
Lester Coffey, CPA, MBA, is President of Coffey Consulting, LLC, a professional services consulting firm founded in 1986 and provides extensive research, evaluation, technical assistance, training, specialized studies, and other services to federal and state agencies such as Labor, Education and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Lester is Past Chair of both Montgomery County’s (Maryland) Workforce Investment Board and Chamber of Commerce. He provided oversight and direction for Coffey Consulting’s USDOL studies that included Evaluation of Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services, Evaluation of State Implementation of Section 303(K), SSA (i.e., SUTA Dumping), Systems Integration as contemplated by WIA, and the Continuous Improvement Initiative (apprenticeship). Lester honed his technical, managerial and leadership skills while completing and leading challenging projects for Gulf Oil Corporation, General Telephone and Electronics (GTE) and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
